During peak season from June 1 through Labor Day, Norris Lake water levels are at full pool of 1,020 ft. Water elevations fall below the optimal water levels only when rainfall and runoff are insufficient to meet system flow requirements from the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). And during the months of June through September the water temperature on Norris Lake can be as warm as 80° F.

2. The Marinas

There are 21 active marinas on Norris Lake! These local marinas offer not only friendly service but everything you need for a day on the lake including boat rentals, paddle board rentals, boat slips, marine supplies, fishing licenses and bait, groceries and more! There are currently 15 marinas that also offer restaurant access by the water.

If you're looking for a place to stay, there are plenty of vacation rentals on Norris Lake to choose from. From log cabin style chalets, floating house rentals on the water, house boat rentals to waterfront condos with modern amenities, Norris Lake has it all! Some of the vacation homes can even accommodate up to 21 people for large groups, family gatherings, reunions, wedding parties, church retreats and more.
