Norris, TN — A fishing guide to get you started on everything Norris Lake. Norris Lake Fishing licenses go on sale February 18 each year, the beginning of prime fishing, and are valid through the last day of February.

Nestled between the Great Smoky Mountains and the Cumberland Mountains, Norris Lake has been a gorgeous area of Tennessee for decades. The abundance of deep water coves, pristine shoreline, numerous natural stone caves and depth of Norris Lake make it perfect for recreational and sport fishing. The best times to enjoy the recreational fishing prospects in Norris Lake, Tennessee are the spring months of April, May and June.
