Deerfield Resort

Our home, the "Peggy House" was on the rental program owned by Georgia Sergent for approximately 12 years before we decided to quit renting it. We never worried about our house being taken care of properly while on her program. Every time we came to our house, it was perfectly cleaned and maintained. In the winter, the water was always shut off so we didn't have to do it or worry about it. Georgia and her staff checked the house periodically during the "off season" to make sure that it was okay. If there was ever a problem, she notified us immediately. If any repairs were needed, Georgia would always help us find someone that could be trusted, and was reasonable, to make those repairs.

If, and when, we do decide to put our house back on a rental program, it will most certainly be with her! here is no one else that I would trust as much as we do her.

Our little family visited Norris Lake for the first time 24 years ago with friends who had a houseboat. We instantly fell in love with Lake Norris. The following year we wanted to find a place to rent for ourselves. That is when we discovered Deerfield. We were very wary of renting some one's home, but was pleasantly surprised to find a clean and comfortable home away from home. For the next 13 years we rented and dreamed of having a home of our own in Deerfield. In 1999 our dream became a reality and we built our home. We immediately put it on the rental program and have found our home meticulously clean every time we return. We are excited to share our home on the rental program, knowing it will be well cared for by Georgia, DJ, and their team. Our home has been a place of countless birthdays, anniversaries and family reunions. A great way to connect with family and friends. It is a place of peace and great natural beauty regardless of the season. We boat, we golf, we ski, we eat in our screened in porch or we simply sit on our deck in the breeze and watch the hummingbirds, it is our little paradise. Michele and Pat O'Christie

Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and thank you for such a beautiful home. Great house for kids and adults. The hot tub was a super place to relax after playing on the lake and golf course. Didn't win at pool but the table and family room was a nice benefit for the teens. Thanks again, I've discovered staying at Deerfield anytime of the year is a good time to stay!

In 1993 we were looking for someplace to take our boat. We heard about a lake in Tennessee called Norris Lake. We were also told about a resort called Deerfield where we could stay. I called and spoke with a young lady by the name of Georgia. She was originally from our part of the country. She told me she had come to Norris Lake and never returned home because she liked it so much. Sounded good enough to me. Now almost 20 years later we are still doing business with Georgia and Deerfield Resort. It is as easy as one call and they will have everything ready for the lake vacation of your dreams. Georgia even arranges for us to have great weather while we are there. The resort is spotless and the homes are beautiful. You too will want to stay forever.
